Grace Mitchell

Grace Mitchell is a Senior Data Engineer at TransitionZero since September 2024, bringing extensive experience in data science and machine learning. Previously, Grace worked at H2GO Power as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and a Machine Learning Scientist from January 2022 to August 2024. Grace contributed to the Women in Geospatial+ organization as a member of the Steering Committee and Co-Lead of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from March 2021 to March 2023. At WattTime.org, Grace served as a Data Scientist and Data Analyst from January 2018 to December 2021, leading a successful $1.7M grant proposal with Carbon Tracker and WRI and modeling Marginal Operational Emissions Rates for multiple electricity grids. Additional roles include Machine Learning Engineer at Omdena in late 2020, Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University College of Engineering in 2017, Energy Analyst Intern at NYC DCAS Energy Management, and Energy Corps Intern with Cornell Cooperative Extension. Grace holds a Master of Engineering in Biological and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.
