Matt Gray currently serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of TransitionZero since December 2020. Prior to this, Matt was the Managing Director at Carbon Tracker from August 2016 to December 2020. With a background in energy and climate change analysis, Matt has held various roles including Consultant Analyst at the International Energy Agency, Analyst and Head of European Carbon & Power at Jefferies & Company, and Director of Strategy & Intelligence at IDEAcarbon. Matt also has experience working as a Consultant Advisor at the Department of Energy and Climate Change. Matt holds a Master of Science with Distinction from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours from the University of Otago.
