Since 2006, we have led efforts for equity and justice for trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive youth, their families, and our larger communities across Western Massachusetts.

Our Mission:
Translate Gender is a trans-led, consensus-run non-profit organization that works to generate community accountability for individuals to self-determine their own genders and gender expressions.

We accomplish this through innovative programming for youth and families, special events, and ongoing education through workshops and consultations across organizations, K-12 schools, universities, at conferences, and in the workplace.
