John Buergler

John Buergler has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership roles. John is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for UnitedMasters, where they oversee the financial operations of the company. Previously, they worked at Univision Communications Inc., where they held multiple positions, including Senior Vice President of Growth Initiatives and Senior Vice President and CFO of Univision Radio. Prior to that, they worked as the CFO of a private media company in NYC and as the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis at CNBC. John also held finance-related positions at NBC Universal, WNBC Channel 4 NYC, and NBC Universal Dallas/Fort Worth. Additionally, Buergler has experience in the military, having served as a Company Commander in the HHC 3-229th Attack Battalion. Overall, they bring a strong background in finance and leadership to their current role.

John Buergler completed their undergraduate education from 1991 to 1995 at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics. Following their time at West Point, John pursued further education in the field of aeronautics and aviation. John attended Army Aviation and FAA licensed flight schools to gain their commercial pilot license with an instrument rotorcraft specialization in 1996. In 2021, they obtained a private pilot license with an ASEL (airplane single-engine land) certification. Additionally, John is affiliated with Crotonville Alumni, where they completed the Financial Management Program and the Experienced Financial Leadership Program, focusing on accounting and finance.
