Bita Vorell has extensive experience in transportation planning and project management, currently serving as Manager of Bus Priority Project Development & Design and Manager of RapidBus Upgrade Program at TransLink since January 2011. Prior roles at TransLink include Project Manager for the RapidBus Program and Expo & Millennium Upgrade Program, as well as Senior Transportation Planner for both the Broadway Subway Project & RapidBus Program and Major Investment Planning. Bita began at TransLink as a Transportation Planning Intern in 2010 and has also worked as a Project Analyst at the BC Ministry of Transportation. Bita holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology & Archaeology from The University of British Columbia.
