Dorit Mason

Dorit Mason, MSc CEM ABCP, is a seasoned professional in emergency management and safety with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Safety Emergency & Environment Management at TransLink since February 2018, Dorit is responsible for enterprise-wide emergency management and safety, notably leading strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the Executive Director of DMason Consulting since March 2017, Dorit supports organizations in developing resilience and preparing for environmental changes. Previous roles include Director of North Shore Emergency Management, Manager of Emergency Programs for the City of Coquitlam, and Manager of Environmental Management and Emergency Programs at ICBC, among others. Dorit holds a Master's degree in Science from the University of British Columbia and has completed several certifications related to management and emergency management.
