Eve Hou

Senior Manager, Policy Development And Decision Analysis at TransLink

Eve Hou currently serves as a Board Member and co-chair of the Justice Equity Decolonization, Diversity and Inclusion working group at the Planning Institute of British Columbia since January 2025. Eve has held various roles at TransLink since April 2018, including Senior Manager of Policy Development and Decision Analysis, Manager of Policy Development, and Project Manager. Prior to that, Eve worked at Metro Vancouver from May 2007 to April 2018 as an Air Quality Planner, managing projects related to electric vehicles and emissions forecasting. Eve was also the Chair of the A&WMA BC-Yukon Chapter from January 2014 to December 2015 and worked as an Air Quality Planner at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality from 2001 to 2004. Eve holds a Master of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of British Columbia, alongside an Honours high school diploma from Centennial Senior Secondary.
