Fred Cummings

Fred Cummings, P.Eng (Non-practicing), ICD.D, serves as the Board Chair and Director at British Columbia Rapid Transit Company under TransLink since July 2022 and a Board Director for the Site C Clean Energy Project Assurance Board at BC Hydro since April 2021. Cummings also holds the position of Corporate Director for the City of Calgary Green Line Project, the largest infrastructure initiative in Calgary's history, from January 2021 to September 2024. Previously, Cummings was a Regional Director at Hatch, where responsibilities included business development and project implementation for major infrastructure projects. With extensive experience in various corporate director roles and significant leadership positions at TransLink, including Vice President of Infrastructure Management and Engineering, and involvement in major projects such as the Golden Ears Bridge and Canada Line, Cummings combines a robust engineering background with strategic oversight in infrastructure development. Cummings holds a BASc in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and completed executive programs at Simon Fraser University and the University of Chicago.
