Jason Beatch

Jason Beatch, P.Eng, is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in systems and mechanical engineering across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at TransLink since January 2020, Jason leads technical initiatives for the Compass fare collection system. Prior roles include Systems Engineer and Mechatronics Lead at 3DM Devices Inc. and New Leaf Management, respectively, where Jason contributed to the development of precision systems and innovative wind turbine technology. Jason's career also includes internships and freelance work that honed skills in machine design, software development, and project management. Jason holds a BASc in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics from The University of British Columbia and a certificate in Digital Animation from CDIS.
