Jawn Jang

Jawn Jang is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Media Relations Advisor at TransLink since November 2022. Previously, Jawn held roles as an On-Air Contributor at 980 CKNW, where responsibilities included hosting and producing shows such as The Jas Johal Show and The Mike Smyth Show from August 2020 to November 2022. Prior to that, Jawn was an On-Air Personality at Rogers Sportsnet 650, co-hosting "The Playbook," and worked at various radio stations including 102.9 The Drive and 102.7 The PEAK, focusing on live programming and audience engagement. Jawn’s early career featured an internship at 950 KJR AM. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Technology in Broadcast and Media Communications from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a High School Diploma from Clayton Heights Secondary School.
