Laura Murphy

Laura M. serves as the Senior Manager of Indigenous Relations at TransLink since January 2021, having previously held multiple positions related to Indigenous relations. Prior experience includes roles as Relationship Lead for Treaty 8 at BC Hydro and Indigenous Relations Liaison at TransCanada. Laura also worked as a Social & Socio-Economic Consultant and a Social & Health Consultant at Environmental Resources Management, as well as in roles related to Royalties for Regions with the Government of Western Australia. Academically, Laura M. earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Victoria and two Master of Science degrees in International Humanitarian Action from University College of Dublin and University of Groningen, both completed between 2010 and 2012.
