Megan Johnston is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public engagement and communications. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor, Public Engagement at TransLink since July 2014, Megan previously held the position of Issues Manager within the same organization. Prior to TransLink, Megan worked as a Communications Officer at WorkSafeBC from 2007 to July 2014 and acted as the Communications Manager at Kwantlen Polytechnic University between April 2005 and October 2006. Early in Megan's career, editorial roles included Editor at The Computer Paper and Assistant Editor at The Evening Telegram, as well as Assistant City Editor at the Medicine Hat News. Megan Johnston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of British Columbia, along with certificates in Journalism from Langara College and Web and Multimedia Development from The University of British Columbia.
