Ralf Nielsen

Ralf Nielsen is an accomplished sustainability leader with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Sustainability at TransLink since September 2021, Ralf is responsible for integrating sustainability initiatives across the organization to benefit the BC Lower Mainland. Prior to this role, Ralf held multiple senior positions at Colliers Project Leaders, leading infrastructure advisory services and sustainability efforts for diverse clients, including government and education sectors. Ralf's expertise also encompasses corporate sustainability through the founding of Nielsen Sustainability Inc., along with significant contributions to Environment Canada and Five Winds International. Academic positions include roles as an Assistant Professor in Industrial Design at Carleton University and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Ralf holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Design from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Manitoba.
