Shumin Long

Shumin Long is an experienced project manager with a strong background in technology implementation and health informatics. At TransLink, Shumin led the upgrade of crucial systems such as Giro’s HASTUS for dispatch and workforce management, enhanced cybersecurity measures through Project Syrup, and managed the integration of Office 365 and Teams. Prior experience includes project management for the Windows 10 Project at Provincial Health Services Authority and overseeing technology integrations in health communication systems at Fraser Health. Shumin's career began with roles at BC Cancer Agency and Canadian Institute for Health Information, including co-op and data analyst positions. Shumin holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Science combined with Computer Science from the University of Victoria.
