Yu Jiang

Yu Jiang is an experienced engineer specializing in transportation systems, currently working at TranSmart since January 2020. Prior to this role, Yu served as a Transportation Modeling Associate at the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation from September 2019 to January 2020, and completed a transportation internship at the Urban Planning and Design Group in the City of Shenzhen, where key responsibilities included conducting traffic impact studies and investigating mobility for cyclists and pedestrians. Yu holds a Master's degree in Traffic Analysis and Transportation Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, acquired between 2017 and 2019, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University, obtained in 2018. Additional educational qualifications include nanodegrees in Intro to Self-Driving Cars and Data Streaming from Udacity, completed in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
