Gerry Estrella, Jr., MD, is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in the fields of tissue procurement and organ perfusion. Formerly the Director of Tissue Procurement and Organ Perfusion at Legacy of Life Hawaii from May 2012 to July 2014, Gerry also served as Interim Co-President/CEO during that time. Following this, Gerry held the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations at Legacy of Life Hawaii from July 2014 to October 2019. More recently, Gerry was the National Manager - West at TransMedics, Inc. from December 2022 to March 2023 and has also worked as a Principal Regional OCS Support Specialist. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, a residency in General Surgery from the Hospital of Manila Medical Center Department of Surgery, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Philippines.
