Malcolm MacConmara

Malcolm MacConmara has extensive work experience in the medical field. Malcolm is currently the Vice President of Abdominal Medical Affairs at TransMedics, Inc. since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern from July 2014 to September 2021. Before that, they were a Physician at Emory University from July 2012 to July 2014. Malcolm began their career as a Resident in General Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis in 2007 and worked there until 2012.

Malcolm MacConmara attended Trinity College Dublin from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in the field of Medicine. Malcolm later pursued a Research Fellowship in Immunology at Harvard Medical School from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Trinity College Dublin in 1999, though the field of study for this degree is not specified.
