Rakesh Loonkar

Rakesh Loonkar is the President and Co-Founder of Transmit Security. Rakesh has over 20 years of experience in the security industry. Prior to Transmit Security, Rakesh was the Vice President of Sales at Netscreen Technologies where they were responsible for North American Enterprise, Channel, and Emerging Technologies Sales. Rakesh also served as the President and Co-Founder of Trusteer, which was acquired by IBM in 2013. Rakesh has also served on the Board of Directors for FS-ISAC from 2010 to 2014.

Rakesh Loonkar's educational career began at Wayne Hills High School. Rakesh then went on to study at the American Embassy School in New Delhi before completing their B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
