Michael Celona

Michael Celona is the current CTO at Transmit. Prior to joining Transmit, they were the Chief Technical Officer, Data, Technology and Innovation at Publicis Media from May 2016 to July 2020. Before that, they were the CTO at RUN from March 2012 to July 2020, where they oversaw and contributed to the architecture and development of RUN's real time bidding platform, including engineering, product development, operations, and support. From May 2010 to June 2011, they served as Lead Architect at Sling Media. From January 2009 to May 2010, they were Lead Architect/Engineer at HD Cloud, an encoding platform leveraging cloud computing to perform high quality, low-cost, and massively scalable video encoding. Michael also served as Director of Software Development at Diversion Media, LLC. from April 2006 to May 2010 and as Director of Software Engineering at Critical Mention, Inc. from September 2004 to April 2006. In addition, they were Senior Engineering Manager at Echostar Advanced Technology from June 2011 to March 2012 and Director of Information Technology at Porfg, LLC. from March 2004 to July 2004.

Michael Celona has a MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia Engineering and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
