Amit Nandkuar is an experienced project and portfolio manager with a strong background in the petrochemical and ports sectors. Amit began a career at Transnet Capital Projects as a Project Leader (September 2001 - March 2008) before transitioning to Kaytech Engineered Fabrics as a Technical Marketing Engineer (March 2008 - November 2008). Amit then served at Transnet Pipelines as a Project Manager (November 2008 - May 2013), where responsibilities included project execution and contract management. Since June 2013, Amit has held the position of Enterprise Portfolio Manager at Transnet National Ports Authority, overseeing strategic projects and enhancing business performance. Additionally, Amit has been Manager of Planning and Development at Transnet SOC Ltd since January 2019. Amit holds a BTech in Civil Engineering from Durban University of Technology and an MBA from Milpark Business School.
