Hema Chetty

Hema Chetty is the Group Chief Digital Officer at Transnet SOC Ltd, where they are focused on building the future of the organization. Previously, Hema served as the IIA Regional Chair at The Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa and held various positions at EY, including Senior Associate and Assistant Audit Manager. Hema's educational background includes an Honors degree in BCom Internal Auditing from the University of Pretoria and they are currently pursuing an Executive Programme in Digital Transformation at MIT Sloan School of Management. Passionate about leveraging digital technology to enhance business operations, Hema consistently seeks to challenge the status quo for greater efficiency.
