Magenthran Ruthenavelu

Magenthran Ruthenavelu is the Deputy Chief Engineer at Transnet National Ports Authority, where they provide technical oversight and guidance for the maintenance of port infrastructure. Previously, they served as a Port Engineer, responsible for similar duties during their tenure with the organization from 2002 to 2013. Magenthran holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Master's degree in Hydraulic Engineering, specializing in Port and Coastal Engineering, from IHE Delft in the Netherlands. Following their extensive experience in the port engineering sector, they maintain a keen attention to detail in their work.
