Marion Borcherds

Marion Borcherds is a seasoned professional in employee wellbeing and benefits, currently serving as the Head of Wellbeing and Benefits at AfroCentric Group since January 2023. Prior to this, Marion held the position of Group Employee Wellness and Transformation Manager at Transnet from September 2010, focusing on strategy, implementation, and evaluation of various components such as Employment Equity, Employee Assistance Programmes, and absenteeism management. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil) in Employee Assistance Programmes from the University of Pretoria, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from UWC.
