Mdu Mlaba

Mdu Mlaba has extensive experience in engineering and infrastructure management, having served as Chief Engineer at Transnet SOC Ltd from October 2011 to July 2015, where responsibilities included maintaining and upgrading the Rail Network Infrastructure for Freight Trains and implementing asset management strategies. Additionally, Mdu held the position of Head of RNC, overseeing major rehabilitation, maintenance, and construction of rail and port infrastructure for Transnet Freight Rail. Prior to this role, Mdu was an Engineering Manager at SABMiller from 2002 to 2006, acting as a liaison between Factory Packaging and Asset Care Teams, and ensuring asset management excellence across the site.
