Prudence Simelane

Prudence Simelane is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and operations within the rail industry. Prudence began a career at GE in 2016 through the GE Lean Six Sigma Experience Leadership Training. Subsequent roles at Transnet Freight Rail from 2014 to 2015 included Senior Manager for Management Information Systems, Senior Manager for Strategy and Planning, and Operations Finance Manager. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement at Transnet SOC Ltd since December 2018, Prudence is focused on enhancing operational efficiency within the rail network. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from Rhodes University, a Post Graduate Diploma in General Management, and an MBA, both from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, along with a qualification in Public Sector Corporate Governance from the University of South Africa/SBL.
