Thato Radebe

Thato Radebe currently serves as a Senior Treasury Accountant at Transnet SOC Ltd, beginning in July 2023, where responsibilities include establishing effective treasury systems, policy frameworks, and standard operating procedures for treasury financial accounting and reporting. Prior experience includes roles at the Auditor-General of South Africa from January 2017 to July 2023, progressing from Trainee Accountant to Acting Senior Manager, along with leadership in the Trainee Auditor Forum. Thato Radebe holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting from the University of Pretoria, as well as significant professional qualifications from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, achieving the Assessment of Professional Competence and Initial Test of Competence on the first attempt.
