Benjamin Besson has extensive experience in civil engineering and BIM management, commencing with a construction worker role at Gebrüder Ott GmbH & Co. KG in 2009. Following this, Benjamin served as a civil engineering intern at Ed. Züblin AG, contributing to the ARGE S21 Berlin project, and later focused on BIM during internships and theses. A significant tenure at ZÜBLIN from 2016 to 2021 included roles as project and BIM engineer, alongside a master thesis on bridge information modeling. Currently, Benjamin leads data and information management for linear construction at TransnetBW GmbH, having recently worked as an expert BIM development and function lead at STRABAG. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in European Engineering Business Management from Coventry University, a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Hochschule Konstanz University of Applied Sciences, as well as studies in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Stuttgart.
