Simon Foo

Simon Foo has a diverse work experience, starting as the Chief Executive Officer at Transnomis Solutions Inc. in 2007. At Transnomis, they specialize in road information management and communications solutions for agencies. In 2008, Simon joined the City of Toronto, initially as a Transportation Engineer and Engineering Technologist before transitioning to a Senior Engineer role from 2009 to 2012. In 2007, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at McMaster University.

Simon Foo obtained a Ph.D. in Intelligent Transportation Systems from the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2006. Simon also earned an M.A.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university between 2000 and 2002. Prior to that, Simon completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, where they obtained a B.A.Sc. in Computer Engineering from 1995 to 2000.
