Benjamin Lewis is an experienced marine engineering professional with a strong background in the offshore oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Second Engineer TopSide (Chief Mechanic) at Transocean since May 2023, Benjamin previously held positions at SIG SAUER, Inc. and Transocean, demonstrating rapid growth in management, leadership, and logistics capabilities. Benjamin's extensive experience includes roles as 2nd Assistant Engineer and Engine Room Operator aboard advanced drillships at Ensco plc, as well as experience as a 3rd Assistant Engineer on a steam propulsion chemical tanker with US Shipping. Benjamin holds a degree in Marine Engineering Operations from Maine Maritime Academy, earned between 2007 and 2011.
