Chris R.

Chris R. has over 25 years of work experience in the IT industry. Chris started their career as a System Administrator at Aspen Technology in 1995 and worked there for 10 years. Chris then joined Transocean as a System Engineer in 2005 and continued in that role until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Chris worked as a System Engineer at Marathon Oil Corporation. Currently, Chris is employed at Transocean as an IT Security Lead Engineer, where they are responsible for designing and implementing the security program, setting up core technologies for defense, and implementing security policies and controls.

Chris R. holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Systems Security with a concentration in Cloud Computing from American Public University. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineering from ISACA, Certified in Cybersecurity from (ISC)², and Defender from CyberArk.
