David Dompierre

David Dompierre has extensive experience in marine engineering and emergency response. Currently serving as a Second Assistant Engineer at Transocean since May 2022, David has also held roles as a Third Assistant Engineer at both Transocean and Military Sealift Command. Prior to this, David worked as a Firefighter EMT at Fairhaven Fire and EMS from July 2017 to November 2022. With a solid background as an Industrial Technician at Brownell Boat Stands, David's skills include production welding, rigging, and machinery operation and repair. David began the career journey as a Cadet Engineer at Grand River Navigation Company, Inc. in summer 2020. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, complemented by studies at Bristol Community College.
