David Wiseman

David Wiseman is an accomplished maritime professional with over a decade of experience in dynamic positioning and offshore operations, currently serving as Chief Mate and DP Assessor and Analyst at Transocean since July 2011. Wiseman has a history of significant roles, including Senior Dynamic Positioning Officer and Senior Barge Supervisor, where expertise was demonstrated on advanced drilling rigs, such as working for Exxon in Angola's 5th Generation DP environment. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Dynamic Positioning Operator and Barge Supervisor, contributing to deepwater drilling operations. Wiseman holds an Officer of the Watch STCW 95 Unlimited License from Tyneside Nautical College (2007-2008).
