David Young

David Young is a seasoned maritime professional currently serving as a Master/OIM at Transocean, where they manage various high-profile projects, including the delivery and operation of the Deepwater Atlas and Deepwater Pontus. David previously held roles at Transocean as a Chief Mate and DPO/2nd Mate, gaining extensive experience in dynamic positioning systems and vessel operations. Earlier in their career, David worked as a 2nd Mate at Tyco Telecommunications. David earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture from the State University of New York Maritime College, complemented by an Unlimited Tonnage Merchant Mariners License.
