Eric Bertin

Eric Bertin possesses extensive experience in marine engineering and mechanical operations, starting with a degree in Marine Engineering Technology from the Institut Maritime du Quebec and a college diploma from the Marine Institute Rimouski. Currently serving as a 1st Assistant Engineer and Engine Room Operator at Transocean since August 2017, Eric has held various technical positions, including Chief Mechanic and Mechanic on the Henry Goodrich, and Rig Mechanic on Ocean Rig Mylos, focusing on maintenance and repair of drilling equipment and power plants. Previous roles include Field Service Engineer at Rolls-Royce, overseeing commissioning and overhaul of propulsion systems, and Marine Engineer at Groupe Desgagnés.
