James Nelson is a highly experienced Chief Engineer with a career spanning over three decades in the maritime industry. Currently serving at Transocean since January 2018, James manages the planned maintenance system and asset management, collaborating closely with various engineering teams. Previously, at Songa Offshore from 2007 to 2018, James oversaw maintenance operations on the Cat D mid-water semi-submersible rig and the Songa Dee semi-submersible, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
