Lee Thompson

Lee Thompson has extensive experience in electrical and electronic maintenance, having worked in various roles since 1994. Currently serving as Chief Electrician and Chief Electronic Technician at Transocean since January 2008, responsibilities include maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on drilling equipment and safety systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing vessel management systems. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Electrician for Discoverer Americas, and as an Electrician/Electrical Technician at Nissan North America, where a preventive maintenance program for servo/mechanical operated equipment was implemented. Additionally, Lee served as a Consultant at Levi Strauss & Co, acting as a liaison between integrated technology and mechanical development.
