Matt Faust has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as a Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO) at Transocean since February 2021. Prior roles include DPO at Rowan Companies from November 2014 to February 2021, with experience on the Rowan Resolute and Rowan Renaissance as 2nd and 3rd Mate, respectively. Previous to these positions, Matt served as a 2nd Mate on the ATB Ocean Reliance with Crowley Maritime from October 2013 to November 2014. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from California State University Maritime Academy (2009-2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from California State University, Monterey Bay (2003-2007).
