Matthew Quattrone

Matthew Quattrone is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Mechanical Engineering Manager at Transocean since April 2019, Matthew leads a team focused on resolving rig equipment challenges and enhancing operational efficiency across various systems, including drilling and subsea control equipment. Prior to this, Matthew held multiple managerial roles at National Oilwell Varco from October 2012 to April 2019, overseeing hydraulic and mechanical blowout preventer (BOP) control systems, where effective project management and resource allocation were key to meeting deadlines. Matthew's career began as a mechanical engineer with significant contributions to new product development and sustainability initiatives, and academic involvement as a graduate research and teaching assistant at The George Washington University supported by advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
