Navin Sarda

Navin Sarda has extensive work experience in tax management and finance. Navin started their career as a Fiscal Accountant at Transocean in 2003 and worked their way up to become the Director, Global Tax in April 2020. At Transocean, they held various senior management roles, including Senior Manager International Tax and Senior Tax Manager for India and the Middle East. Their responsibilities included tax compliance, reporting, planning, and structuring for the company's operations in various regions. Prior to joining Transocean, Navin worked as an Asst. Manager at PwC, where they focused on tax return preparations, assessment proceedings, and client advisory. Navin also had a brief stint as a Sr. Officer - Finance at Sterlite Optical Technologies Ltd., where they gained practical experience in finance and MIS reporting in the manufacturing industry.

Navin Sarda holds a Certificate in Business Excellence (CFO Program) from Columbia Business School, which they obtained in the years 2021-2022. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1997 and 2000. Navin also attained a degree in Company Secretarial Practice (C.S.) from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India from 2001 to 2004. Furthermore, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Rajasthan during the years 1997-1999.
