Ronald Garner

Ronald Garner currently serves as a Senior Environmental Advisor at Transocean since September 2022. Prior to this role, Garner was employed at Noble Drilling as a Chief Mate and a Dynamic Positioning Supervisor, providing operational support and technical expertise in Dynamic Positioning systems. Garner’s extensive experience at Transocean includes serving as Chief Mate and Senior Dynamic Positioning Officer, where responsibilities encompassed executing functions per STCW requirements and managing Deepwater Drilling projects in West Africa. Garner's maritime career began at GulfMark Offshore as a Mate on the PSV Iberville. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Operations and Technology from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, completed in 2007.
