Russ Brown has extensive experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Manager of HSE at Transocean since October 2017, Russ previously held the position of QHSE Manager at Gulf Drilling International from May 2016 to September 2017 and Corporate Health & Safety Manager at Ocean-Rig from December 2013 to March 2016. Russ's career at Transocean began in February 2006, where multiple roles were undertaken, including Division QHSE Manager for the Far East & Australia and various HSE managerial positions. Earlier experience includes serving as Safety Training Coordinator at GlobalSantaFe (North Sea) Offshore from November 2001 to May 2005, where practical guidance was provided to rig teams on implementing company management systems.
