Shane McClaugherty

Shane Mcclaugherty has extensive experience in the field of controls engineering and automation, primarily within the drilling industry. Since August 2010, Shane has held various managerial and engineering roles at Transocean, focusing on drilling control systems and providing technical support for automated control systems globally. Prior to Transocean, Shane worked as a Senior Controls Specialist at Hyperion International Technologies, developing SCADA HMI and network topology for various markets, and as an Applications Consultant at Standard Automation/Wonderware West. Shane's experience also includes significant contributions as a Senior Software Engineer at National Oilwell Varco, where responsibilities involved developing distributed HMI and PLC programs for drilling rigs worldwide. Earlier roles include positions at Remote Operating Systems and Texas Instruments, specializing in control systems and facility integration. Shane holds an A.A.S. in Electronic Engineering and Automation from United States jobs and careers and Texas State Technical College, respectively.
