Stein Olav Ask is an experienced professional in the drilling industry with over 35 years of expertise. Currently serving as a Senior Toolpusher at Transocean since 2018 and at Songa Offshore since 2014, Stein has developed a strong background in HSE systems, coaching, and optimizing drilling operations. Stein has worked with advanced drilling equipment from CML, NOV, and MHWirth, and has been involved in the construction and commissioning of drilling rigs while providing personnel training. Having held various positions within the drilling department, Stein possesses a comprehensive understanding of the field and continues to enhance their knowledge through ongoing education at Stavanger offshore tekniske skole.
