Tom Atkins has over 26 years of experience in the offshore drilling industry, currently serving as the Managing Director of Innovation & New Ventures at Transocean since August 1997, with a history of progressively responsible positions that include Director roles in Technology & Innovation, New Build Projects, and Maintenance. Tom has also managed operations across various international locations and served in senior management positions, including HR and project planning. Additionally, Tom holds board member positions at InteliWell and Enhanced Drilling, and possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with executive development training from CEDEP and INSEAD.
