Transon criteria
•	Finance for growth, acquisitions, sale of equity (i.e. owner selling a stake in  the business) or MBOs.
•	Privately-owned businesses (owner-managed, family or private equity) or subsidiaries of larger plcs wishing to organise an MBO.
•	Scale of business: typically sales of £5m to £100m.
•	Scale of investment: typically £2m to £50m.
•	Sectors: industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, business services, distribution and general commercial sectors.

Transon methodology
•	Completes a value review of the business in the light of the owners’ objectives.
•	Helps owners and management to create a plan, to maximise the value for the existing equity and the probability of success.
•	This transition plan defines key short and long term objectives and is endorsed by key stakeholders.
•	Helps implement the transition plan in a hands-on role as part of the management team.
•	Helps the management team to prepare a credible and detailed business plan suitable for new investors.
•	Provides hands-on support, working with management and other advisers, to manage the transaction to a successful completion.
