Tom Wright is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and advocacy within international development. Currently serving as the Research and Advocacy Manager at Transparency International since February 2018, Tom leads the technical efforts of the Open Contracting for Health initiative, focusing on reducing corruption in the health sector across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Previously, Tom held positions such as Business Development Assistant at Health Partners International, where contributions included technical writing for international development proposals, and as a Research Consultant for WISE Development on women's economic empowerment. Earlier experience includes a research internship at the All Party Parliamentary Group on Anti-Corruption, emphasizing governance and social accountability. Tom holds a Master's degree in Governance and Corruption and a Bachelor's in Politics and International Relations, both from the University of Sussex.
