Christopher Tobe

Christopher Tobe, CFA, CAIA, serves as the Principal Litigation Consultant at Chris Tobe, a role focused on expert witness litigation support and dispute analysis for 401(k) plans and public pensions. As Chief Investment Officer of the Reconstruction Fund I, Tobe leads initiatives in racial justice private equity impact investments aimed at supporting Black businesses in the South. Tobe holds senior consulting positions at The Hackett Group, LLC, and the CommonSense 401(k) Project, while also contributing as an Ambassador for the Transparency Task Force, where several articles on pension transparency have been published. Tobe has authored a book titled "Kentucky Fried Pensions" and has served on multiple boards, including as Treasurer for COPES, Inc. and as a member of the investment committee for the DTD Foundation. Additionally, Tobe has experience in public service as a candidate for Kentucky State Auditor and has led efforts to promote transparency and accountability in government as Kentucky Chair for Represent.Us. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from Indiana University and a BA in Economics from Tulane University.
