Nicole Martens currently serves as the Head of Impact Investing Research at Krutham since March 2024 and holds a voluntary ambassador position at the Transparency Task Force. Prior to these roles, Nicole was the Head of Stewardship at Old Mutual Investment Group and held positions as Senior Associate Consultant at Trialogue, and Director at Martens Impact Advisory. Nicole has extensive experience in impact investing and stewardship, having previously worked as the Acting Head and then Head of Africa & Middle East at Principles for Responsible Investment. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance from SOAS University of London and various finance-related courses from the University of Cape Town and GIBS Business School, along with a BA with Honours in Economics from Rhodes University.
