Arnav Mitra

Arnav Mitra has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. In 2017, they worked as an Information Technology Summer Worker at Abbott, where they assisted in developing work intake processes and organized customer request data using Microsoft Excel. In 2018, at Willow House Grief Support Center, they served as a Business Operations Intern, advising on daily operations and implementing new support groups to increase clientele. Additionally, they led a UI/UX overhaul of the company website. At Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity, they held two roles: Recruitment Chairman and Information Technology Chairman. Arnav was responsible for selecting candidates and aiding new members in acclimating to the university. Arnav also redesigned the fraternity's website and created a database to analyze trends in academic performance and job placement. In 2019, Arnav became a Young Professionals Board Member at Worldwide Mental Health Initiatives NFP, coordinating sponsorships and developing plans for a new branch at the University of Illinois. In 2020, they worked as a Pathology Informatics Intern at AbbVie, where they managed clinical databases, analyzed complex datasets using pathology workflows, and aided in the creation of digital pathology workflows. In the same year, they also worked as an Operations and Sales Associate at Raise The Bar Consulting, gathering and analyzing data using Microsoft Excel and maintaining communication between clients and the leadership team. Currently, they hold the position of a Senior Analyst, Data & Analytics at Transparent Partners.

Arnav Mitra obtained their Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL, from 2013 to 2017.
