Aitor Medrano

Aitor Medrano serves as the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at TransPerfect since April 2011, overseeing initiatives such as the TransPerfect Mountain Challenge to support families impacted by childhood cancer through AFANOC. Previously held the position of Department Manager at TransPerfect, managing over 100 localisation engineers and desktop publishers while improving localisation processes and training. Aitor has contributed to academia as a lecturer at ISTRAD and Université de Strasbourg, teaching localisation engineering and website localisation, respectively. Aitor's career began in localization engineering roles at various organizations, including TransPerfect and CPSL, and included freelance translation work on video games and UNESCO publications. Aitor holds a Graduate Diploma in Software Localisation from the University of Limerick and a Licenciado en Traducción e Interpretación from Universidad de Granada.
